Image / Film

Đorđe Živković / Antikatarza is Belgrade-based visual artist working in image and film. After studying cinematography at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, he has been developing his practice independently, exploring photographic media and visual research. His artistic practice focuses on the experimental image making, articulated through symbolic, conceptual and performative processes. The central themes explored in his work are the body, transformation and (de)construction. He frequently works with industrial elements, using them both as visual elements and as active participants in his experimental photographic practice.
He has presented his work through one solo and several of international group exhibitions, including a collaborative serial with BUTT, a leading queer magazine.
In addition to his artistic practice, he works in creative direction across fashion and graphic design.
